Cody Wallace Ready to Step In For The Steelers

Cody WallaceThe Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line took a major blow Sunday with the loss of All Pro center Maurkice Pouncey. Pouncey sustained a broken left fibula and he will be out an extended period of time, possibility the whole season.

The Steelers will now rely on back up center Cody Wallace. Make no mistake there’s a  drop off when you jump from Pouncey to Wallace. Pouncey is a All Pro center and Wallace has been a career backup most of his career.

Steelers Offensive Line Key to Offensive Firepower in 2015

OThe Pittsburgh Steelers have high expectations on the offensive side of the ball for the 2015 season and after their record-breaking performance in 2014 who could blame them.

The Steelers became the very first team in NFL history to have  a 4,500-yard passer ( Ben Roethlisberger, 4952 passing yards), a 1,500-yard receiver( Antonio Brown 1698 receiving yards)  and a 1,300-yard rusher ( Le’Veon Bell 1361 yards rushing)  in the same season.
