Chuck Noll -Jan. 5, 1932 – June 13, 2014 The Unsung Great One

ChuckNollSteeler Nation ,It’s a sad day as we mourn the passing of one of the greatest coaches to ever coach. Charles Henry Noll passed away Friday night in his sleep at his Sewickley home from natural causes . He was 82 .He was a great coach and a greater person. He will be missed by many but never forgotten. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.

Steeler Nation, We have lost another great from the Steelers 70’s dynasty team. L.C. Greenwood famed member of the legendary “Steel Curtain” passed away September 29th 2013 of kidney failure. He was 67.

L.C. Greenwood 6-6 245 was a 10th round draft choice of the Pittsburgh Steelers from Arkansas AM&N (now Arkansas-Pine Bluff) in 1969. He was nicknamed “Hollywood Bags” after saying he always had his bags packed for Hollywood. He was also famous for wearing his golden high tops during his NFL career. Continue reading Thank You L.C. The Unsung Great One

ChuckNollSteeler Nation we all have grown to know the Steeler tradition and have heard many talk about “The Steeler Way”. Many of us have grown up and know no other way. The Rooney’s are a huge part of this tradition and “way” of doing things .
