Last Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers earned their first win of the regular season and pushed their record to 1-4. The team suffered “two potential serious injuries” against the Jets as head coach Mike Tomlin stated on Sunday after the game. While at the University of Oregon, David Paulson played in 41 career games, recording 67 receptions for 1,041 yards and 10 touchdowns. Paulson was named All-Pac-12 second team (Pac-12 coaches, Phil Steele) and Capital One academic all-district 8 and Pac-12 all-academic first team selection in 2011. In 2010, Paulson was an honorable mention All-America selection by SI.com, First-team all-Pac-10 according to the conference coaches and Scout.com, and a second-team choice by Phil Steele.
