The Pittsburgh Steelers Take Outside Linebacker TJ Watt in Round 1


After months of anticipation and speculation the Pittsburgh Steelers pick is in !With the 30th pick in the first round of the 2017 draft the Steelers pick outside linebacker T.J. Watt out of Wisconsin.

Watt 6’4.5, 252 had 11.5 sacks, 15.5 tackles for a loss, two forced fumbles and 63 total tackles for Wisconsin in 2016.

He earned second-team Associated Press All-American and first-team All-Big Ten honors

Watt still has a ton of upside, as 2016 was his first on the defensive side of the ball ,after joining the Badgers as a tight end.
T.J. Watt is the younger brother of famed defensive end J.J. Watt who is a 3 time NFL defensive player of the year winner.

Well Steeler Nation,it looks like the Steelers may have found their future pass rusher!
