The Pittsburgh Steelers’ 2017 Schedule is Now Official 


   Steeler Nation, the Pittsburgh Steelers now know the road they must travel on their journey that is the 2017 season …The NFL made it official tonight as they released the 2017 NFL regular season schedule.    

The Steelers will kickoff the 2017 season at the Cleveland Browns on September 10 at 1:00.  They will then have their season home opener against the  Minnesota Vikings on September 17 at 1:00.

The team will have their Bye week November 5 in week 9 of the NFL season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will be no strangers to the prime time as they will play 5 prime time showdowns in a 7 week span. Kicking off their prime time schedule at the Detroit Lions on NBC’s Sunday Night Football October 29 at 8:30 p.m.

The Steelers also have a string of 4 straight prime time battles that include hosting two home games back to back . They take on the Tennessee Titans on Thursday, Nov. 16 on NBC/NFLN 8:25 p.m. and the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football on Nov. 26 8:30 p.m. They then hit the road against the Cincinnati  Bengals on ESPN’s Monday Night Football on Dec. 4 8:30 p.m.. The Steelers then head back home to face the Baltimore Ravens at Heinz Field on Dec. 10 Sunday night at 8:30 p.m.

The Steelers will be looking for revenge, as they face a rematch of the AFC Championship Game at Heinz Field on Dec. 17 hosting the New England Patriots at 4:25 p.m.

For the second straight season the Steelers will be playing Christmas Day as they travel to Houston to play the Houston Texans on Monday, Dec. 25 for a 4:30 p.m. kickoff on NBC and NFLN. 

The Pittsburgh Steelers will finish the 2017 regular season at home against the same team they began the season with ,taking on the Cleveland Browns at Heinz Field at 1 p.m.
