Let’s now take a look at the Good, the Bad,& the Ugly of the game…

The Good:

The Steelers had a rough first half but made up for it with a very good second half.

The Steelers overcame a 27-13 Denver lead at the half to out score the Broncos 21-0 in the second half and get the victory 34-27.

On defense the Steelers began slow but finished strong. DE Cam Heyward and LB Lawrence Timmons both had sacks and S Will Allen forced a fumble recovered by S Mike Mitchell . LB Ryan Shazier had an interception late In the game to help stop a Denver drive.

The bottom line here is the Steelers started off slow but found a way to get the job done.

The Bad:

The Steelers gave up too many easy big plays in the first half, while also giving up 27 points . The Steelers must be more consistent and do a better job communicating in the secondary. It’s too late in the season to have this many mental mistakes .

The Steelers offense must not  take a whole half to warm up and get on track. From here on out they must start and finish  games better on both sides of the ball.

The Ugly:

The Steelers were on the brink of losing this game for more than 3 quarters and losing their grip on a 2015 playoff  spot. They must play smart football from begining to end from here on out.
