Well Steeler Nation its official , the Pittsburgh Steelers are completing their youth movement.
Only quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and linebacker James Harrison remain from the Steelers most recent Super bowl runs.
The final stages began with the mutual parting of ways of longtime defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau in February and continued with the departures of long time Steelers leaders and veterans Brett Keisel, Ike Taylor and Troy Polamalu .
Change in the NFL is inevitable and a unfortunate fact of life in today’s NFL.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have begun turning the page on much of their 2000’s Super Bowl teams and hope to begin a new chapter beginning with the 2015 season.
A good 2015 draft would go a long way in making this transition a smooth one.
The Steelers have relied heavily on the NFL draft to build their teams since the Chuck Noll era and that philosophy remains the same today.
Having already filled many of their offensive needs in previous drafts, the Steelers should be looking for more than a few defensive players early on in the 2015 NFL draft.
