The Pittsburgh Steelers and all NFL teams must be under the 2015 salary cap by March 10th at 4 p.m.
The Steelers reportedly have made moves to assure they are well in compliance with that projected $140 million NFL salary cap.
It has been reported by multiple sources that the Steelers have restructured offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert contract clearing 3.724 million in cap space.
Gilbert’s new base salary for 2015 will now be $745,000.

Before the restructuring of Gibert’s contract the Steelers were thought to be about 1.92 million over the projected salary cap.
The Steelers are also reportedly restructuring the contracts of safety Mike Mitchell and center Maurkice Pouncey
All three moves could free up a total of 9.5 million in salary cap space heading into March 10th.
The Steelers look to be ready for the start of the 2015 off-season and the begining of free agency.
