Season Record W-L-T Steve: 28-28-0 Brandon: 29-27-0
$$$$ Steelers -2.5 over Falcons… The Falcons have been tough at home but the Steelers are in control of their own destiny and should be able to score against a suspect Falcons defense . Look for the Steelers to win in a shootout.
$$$ Colts -6.5 over the Texans… The Colts offense is number one in the league and although Houston’s J.J. Watt is having an outstanding season the Houston defense is not. They rank 28th in pass defense and 25th in total yards. Andrew Luck and the Colts should win big at home.
$$ Panthers -3.5 over the Buccaneers … These two teams are both at the bottom of the league but I have a feeling the Panthers are the better of the two. I’ll take the Panthers at home.
$ Jets -1.5 over the Titans… Once again, two teams that are not very good but I believe the Titans may be the worst team in the league ranking 30th on total yards offense and 30th on total yards defense. The Jets defense and running game should be the difference maker in this battle of the bad. I’ll take the Jets.
$$$$ Steelers -2.5 over the Falcons… The Steelers perhaps made a statement last week when they defeated the Bengals. That being said, the Steelers must win out and that requires going into Atlanta and getting another big win. The secondary needs to step up.
$$$ Redskins +6.5 over the Giants… I do not believe the Giants should be giving 6.5 points to anybody; even to a struggling Redskins team. The Redskins will find a way to keep this close.
$$ Broncos -4 over the Chargers… I am still not a believer in Phillip Rivers until he can beat opponents like the Patriots and Broncos more often. The Broncos are tough against the run, leaving this game in the hands of Rivers’. I will take Peyton.
$ Saints -3 over the Bears… As if the Bears didn’t have enough problems on the field, a little drama off the field between quarterback Jay Cutler and his offensive coordinator, Aaron Kromer, have only made things worse. The Saints have a must win here to keep their playoff hopes alive!
