It’s Thanksgiving weekend and the NFL enters crunch time as teams begin to fall in and out of the playoff picture! Who will rise and who will fall?
Each week the writers of Steelers N Stuff will give you their picks of the week against the spread. Now remember, these picks are for amusement purposes ONLY. Do not try these picks at home, they are made by trained professionals.
Season Record W-L-T Steve: 24-24-0 Brandon: 26-22-0
$$$$ Steelers -3.5 over the Saints… The Steelers have been tough at home and are once again healthy. I look for the Steelers to continue their winning ways at home against a below average Saints team.
$$$ Seattle +1 over the 49ers… This one should be a defensive battle with Seattle coming out on top. The 49ers offense has been struggling and injuries may be catching up to the defense. Look for Marshawn Lynch and Seattle’s running game to be the difference.
$$ Packers -3 over the Patriots… Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are tough at Lambeau Field and I think Brady and the Patriots will have finally met their match in this high scoring shootout.
$ Denver -1.5 over the Chiefs.. Look for the Broncos to get back on track. I just cant see the Chiefs keeping up on offense. Manning and the Broncos should outscore the Chiefs and Alex Smith.
$$$$ Cowboys -3 over the Eagles… The Cowboys are thought to be a top team in the NFC with their balance on offense. If they want to be considered legit, they need to be able to pull off wins against teams like the Eagles.
$$$ Titans +6.5 over the Texans… Although I feel the Texans are a better team, the points are too good to pass up in this one against a team who gave the Steelers a run for their money just two weeks ago. I think the Titans keep it close.
$$ Giants -2.5 over the Jaguars… Saying the Giants have been bad would be an understatement. The Giants have been terrible. However, if the Giants can not win by at least three to perhaps the worst team in football, they better make some major changes before they leave the stadium.
$ Packers -3 over the Patriots… Here we go. Perhaps the best in the NFC right now is set to host the best in the AFC. If anyone is going to stop the Patriots right now, it has to be the hottest quarterback in football right now, Aaron Rodgers. The Packers will win it at home today.
