The 2014 Pittsburgh Steelers have been a strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr.Hyde. The Steelers have so far been a team of split personalities, unable to establish a true identity through the first 10 games.
At times, the Steelers offense has looked unstoppable both passing and running the football.
At other times ,the offense looks lost and unable to even muster a first down.
The same can be said for the Steelers defense as they looked very good against a high-flying Colts offense led by QB Andrew Luck but looked bad against a hapless Tampa Bay offense led by QB Mike Glennon.
The Steelers kicked off the season against the Cleveland Browns running up a 27-3 score and dominating on both sides of the ball in the first half.
The second half of the game was a completely different story with the Steelers being out scored 24-3 and barley eking out a victory 30-27 in the final seconds.
This game has become somewhat of a microcosm of the Steelers entire season so far.
The Steelers have looked like world beaters against some of the best teams in the NFL and looked like bottom feeders against some of the worst.
They have played some of the best and worst football of all the NFL, through the first ten games of the 2014 NFL season, with no rhyme or reason to what team will show up on any given Sunday.
What Steelers’ team will show up for the rest of the 2014 season?
This leaves Steeler Nation scratching their heads and asking …
Will the real 2014 Pittsburgh Steelers please stand up?!
We shall soon see.
