Steelers N Stuff’s Picks Of The Week: Week 7 2014

SNSpicsThe NFL season is now in full swing ,as we are now moving into the 7th week of 2014. There has been plenty of surprises so far,as any team can win on any given Sunday. Each week the writers of Steelers N Stuff will give you their picks of the week against the spread. Now remember, these picks are for amusement purposes ONLY. Do not try these picks at home, they are made by trained professionals.

Season Record  W-L-T     Steve 11-13-0    Brandon 15-9-0

Steve’s Picks…

$$$$ Colts-3 over the Bengals… The Bengals are hurting at wide receiver and the Colts and QB Andrew Luck are tough at home. The Colts have the top offense in the NFL and I can’t see the Bengals keeping up on the score board.

$$$ Chargers -4 over the Chiefs… The Chargers and QB Phillip Rivers are on a hot streak with a 5-1 record. The Chargers also have a top 3 defense and are playing at home. I expect them to beat the struggling Chiefs by at least a touchdown.

$$ Packers -7 over the Panthers… The Packers are back on track after a slow start. The Panthers are banged up at running back and may be missing wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin (concussion). The Packers with the combination of QB Aaron Rodgers and league leading wide receiver Jordy Nelson should be enough to pull out the victory at Lambeau Field.

$ Steelers-3.5 over the Texans… Yea I know the Steelers have been bad but I still have a glimmer of hope they can turn this thing around and what better place than at Heinz Field on prime time. Look for Ben Roethlisberger and the offense to show up big Monday night.

Brandon’s picks…

$$$$ Steelers -3.5 over the Texans… Not sure why I am picking the black and gold after that terrible loss last week, but I guess they will continue the inconsistency and go back on top this week against J.J. Watt and the Texans.

$$$ Browns -5 over the Jaguars… After a big win last week over the Steelers, the Browns absolutely can not fall to the worst team in football. If they want to be considered legit, they must march into Jacksonville and win by a big margin.

$$ Lions -3 over the Saints… Although the Lions offense has been a disappointment to say the least, the defense has carried them all season. Now the defense gets a real challenge as they are taking on Drew Brees and the Saints but I think the Lions hold on as the Saints are struggling right now.

$ Colts -3 over the Bengals… The Colts are looking like a playoff team and a lot of that comes from quarterback Andrew Luck. The Colts are playing a Bengals team that lost two weeks ago and tied the following week against the Panthers. The absence of AJ Green hurts big time and the Colts will roll.
