The Pittsburgh Steelers made their cut down limit Tuesday, as NFL teams had till 4:00 pm to reach a mandatory 75 man preseason roster limit. The Steelers released 15 players to reach the limit cutting linebacker Vic So’oto,tight end Eric Waters,wide receiver Kashif Moore,cornerback Devin Smith,wide receiver C.J. Goodwin, running back Jordan Hall, safety Jordan Dangerfield, running back Miguel Maysonet,cornerback Lew Toler,defensive linemen Brian Arnfelt,nose tackle Hebron Fangupo,offensive lineman Chris Elkins,offensive lineman Emmanuel McCray, long-snapper Luke Ingram and tailback Tauren Poole.
The Steelers play their final preseason game at home vs. the Carolina Panthers Thursday and must have their final cuts in by Saturday August 30th to meet the NFL 53 man regular season roster limit. A 10 player practice squad is also expected to be announced at that time.
