Mike Munchak Interviews For Steelers’ Offensive Line Job

downloadFormer Tennessee Titans head coach and NFL Hall of Fame offensive lineman Mike Munchak interviewed for the Steelers offensive line coach opening Friday according to multiple media sources.

Munchak 53, was a 9 time Pro Bowl guard with the Houston Oilers and began coaching for the Oilers in 1994 a year after his retirement as a player.

Mike Munchak spent over 30 years as a player/coach for the Houston Oilers/Tennessee Titans organisation.

Munchak is the second known candidate interviewed for the position so far by the Steelers with Steelers’ offensive assistant Shaun Sarrett also interviewed .

Munchak , born in Scranton Pennsylvania and a Penn State grad has also interviewed for the Cleveland Browns Head coaching vacancy .
