Ben Roethlisberger is not the only Steeler to be handed an award on Wednesday. Safety Troy Polamalu has neen named the AFC Defensive Player of the Week. Polamalu looked like the Polamalu of old when the Steelers defeated the Cleveland Browns last Sunday.
Polamalu is a seven-time winner of the AFC Player of the Week award in his career. Against the Browns, Polamalu recorded four tackles, two forced fumbles, a sack, and one fumble recovery. Both of Polamalu’s forced fumbles ended in scoring drives for the black and gold.
Congratulations Troy! Keep the great playing alive this Thursday when the Steelers go into Baltimore on Thanksgiving day!
