The Pittsburgh Steelers wrapped up yet another day of training camp on Monday. The biggest buzz around Latrobe today is the injuries that has some key players sitting out of practice. With injuries already in the secondary, the Steelers took another one today.
Cornerback Curtis Brown was sidelined after suffering from an “ankle injury of some description” according to head coach Mike Tomlin. The Steelers were already thin at corner, which gave Brown more reps that he needed.
TE Matt Speath, LB Larry Foote, and RB Le’Veon Bell all were back at practice today but were limited.
DT Steve McLendon did not practice today, but DT Alameda Ta’amu was activated off of the PUP list.
According to Tunch Illkin, cornerback Josh Victorian looked good at practice on Monday.
LB’s coach Keith Butler says youth is the reason why practice must be physical early.
GM Kevin Colbert is encouraged about LB Sean Spence’s injury. “We hope for his sake and our sake he can make it back.”

Practice ended today with the team doing sprints. The Steelers will have a day off tomorrow. It will be their first day off since arriving on the 26th of June.
