Steeler Nation the day we have all been waiting for arrived today and Coach Tomlin and the Steelers did not disappoint. Today was a practice day with pads and school was definitely in session .Here are some news and notes from today’s practice…
Defensive Backs Cortez Allen ( knee) Demarcus Van Dyke(Hamstring) and Terry Hawthorne (knee) sat out practice. All players are considered day to day.
The Steelers preformed the long-awaited back on backer drills and RB Isaac Redman ,FB Will Johnson , TE Matt Spaeth , LB Marshall McFadden and LB LaMarr Woodley are a few players that did well during the drill.
Rookies LB Jarvis Jones And RB Le’Veon Bell went against each other four times splitting the battles 2-2. Both players impressed during today’s practice
Bob Labriola\ Steelers.com stated that rookies LB Jarvis Jones And RB Le’Veon Bell are as good as advertised so far in camp.
