Steeler Nation, the Steelers first practice began with a bang, literally, Shortly after practice began a thunder and lighting storm blew through delaying practice for 30 minutes.
Heath Miller was running sprints with the other players on PUP list on the side field.@JimCorbett of NFL USAToday tweeted this-during practice” Steelers back after storm passed. Heath Miller ran straight line sprints on side with other PUP guys, looked pretty close to full speed.”
Mike Adams practiced at right tackle.
Matt Spaeth took first team tight end reps with Heath Miller out.
RB Isaac Redman took 1st rep with 1st team.
Jason Worlids started with the first team at outside linebacker.

QB Ben Roethlisberger looked good in practice and said he feels great.
Roethlisberger spoke about rookie wide receiver Markus Wheaton…
Roethlisberger: “He looked good. Obviously, at times, he looks like a rookie. There are some things that I try and help him with and that I know the receivers are helping him with. If I see something I try and talk to him about what I expect from him. I think he looked really good. I think he had his typical first day jitters, but I see a lot of promise in him. “
Ike Taylor said he has confidence in Cortez Allen ability to step up in his new role.
Coach Mike Tomlin said he had no new injuries to report on.
