Tomlin Sets Tone For 2013 Season

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin apparently has set the tone for the 2013 season. It has been reported by players such as Ike Taylor that the coach has told the players he wants less talking and more working and its been a running theme during OTAs.

It’s easy to see why Tomlin makes such a statement after a disappointing 8-8 record and missing the playoffs in 2012. In 2012 it seemed that the off-field chatter outweighed the on field highlights. Gone are players like Mike Wallace head of the “Young Money Crew” and rumored to be a locker room distraction last season after a contract dispute.

After an off-season of  multiple reports of a fractured locker room and a player on the defense reportedly calling out linebacker Lamarr Woodley for being out of shape and not working hard enough, Tomlin seems to have had enough.

Steeler Nation its time to put up and shut up! Head Coach Mike Tomlin is setting the tone for the 2013″ Less Talking, More Working.” Enough said.
