Steelers Seventh Round Pick: Nick Williams + 15 UFA’s

The Pittsburgh Steelers have finished the NFL Draft by picking up the last position of need. A defensive tackle. With the 223rd overall pick, the Steelers selected Nick Williams from Samford. After the draft came to an end, the Steelers then signed 15 undrafted free agents. They will be listed at the end of this post.

CBS Sports Analysis:

“Played only one season of high school football with most of his background coming on the hardcourt. Has done a nice job adding good weight to his frame and still moves like he’s 275-pounds. Needs to be more aggressive and match the intensity of the blockers he goes up against. Good work ethic and coachable. Intriguing combination of size and athleticism with the scheme versatility for a three or four man front. Quick first step to eat up grass in a hurry with fast pursuit skills. Good strength to rip and shed.”
