Steelers Trying To Trade Jonathan Dwyer On Day Three Of Draft

Not long after the fourth round of the NFL Draft started, we got news coming from the league. NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah is reporting that the Pittsburgh Steelers are looking to trade running back Jonathan Dwyer. Dwyer was the team’s leading rusher in a year where the Steelers ranked 26th in rushing.

The Steelers intend to change that by signing LaRod Sptephen-Howling and drafting Michigan State running back Le’Veon Bell in the second round of the NFL Draft.

Both Dwyer and Isaac Redman are under contract for just one more season. Dwyer being the more preferred back by most. Steelers Depot is reporting that if Dwyer would be traded on Saturday, it would be for no more than a 7th round pick due to Dwyer’s success and only having a one-year contract.

If Dwyer does get traded, we will bring that to you. Remember to follow us on Twitter @STEELERSNSUFF and @NFLNSTUFF.
